How Has Your Church Supported You in Your Role as a Missionary?

How has your church supported you in your role as a missionary?

I'm extremely grateful for my church in the way that they have played a part in supporting me. It was one of the elders at my church that introduced me to unreached people groups, that educated me on what they were, that brought me to a good training program, and connected me with the right people. Now that I am serving on the field, it is my church that provides the primary financial support, prayer support, and encouragement. It really takes a village to see a missionary reach the field. So I think that the church is really instrumental in being that counseling support, but also just the driving force behind each individual missionary. I think it's the task of the church. The Great Commission is the task of the church. So for us to take it on together is extremely meaningful to me.
