What Are Poorly Reached Language Groups?

What are poorly reached people groups?

We've got to get more categories than just unreached language groups and reached language groups. That presents us with a a situation that's really untenable because then what do you do about languages that do have some gospel among them, some good churches (by God's grace) among them.

Looking at unreached language groups we're pretty clear on that. Reached language groups: do they have churches in most major cities? Do they have the scriptures available, hopefully more than one or two or three copies or translations of it? But then there's this really broad category that's probably the biggest– is the biggest among us– is these poorly reached or under reached language groups. Those are places that still are deserving of missionary effort. We shouldn't call them unreached language groups; we should know where they fit in that categorization. But to see the church continue to be strengthened, to be rekindled in some places, to be grown numerically, to have more churches: that's this poorly reached category that's kind of in the middle.
