Why is it important that we talk about missions into our regular teaching and preaching ministry?

I don't think we're preaching the Word of God properly, the whole counsel of God, if we are avoiding or not regularly talking about the mission of God to make Christ known in all the earth.

The whole story of the Bible is the story of these two Adams: the first Adam, who violated God's law and plunged humanity into sin and death; and the second Adam, who came to fulfill that law, both in its precept, keeping the commands, and in its penalty, taking the wrath of God due to us on Himself. He came to keep that for us.

And the story of that man Jesus Christ being known—not only by us, but in all the earth—is really the burden of the Scriptures. And so if we're not preaching that, I don't think we're preaching the Bible properly at all.
